The Prophets

The twenty-five prophets named in the Quran, in their traditional order, each with the verse that names them.

  1. 1AdamآدَمNamed in the Quran among those Allah chose above the worlds.
  2. 2IdrisإِدْرِيسDescribed in the Quran as a man of truth and a prophet.
  3. 3NuhنُوحSent to his people to warn them before a painful punishment came to them.
  4. 4HudهُودSent to the people of 'Ad, calling them to worship Allah alone.
  5. 5SalihصَالِحSent to the people of Thamud, calling them to worship Allah alone.
