An-Nawawi's Forty Hadith
The forty-two hadith an-Nawawi gathered as the foundations of the religion, in his order. Each text is an-Nawawi's own, and each is cited in the collection he names, with who graded it. After them come the eight Ibn Rajab added to make the fifty he explains in Jami' al-'Ulum wal-Hikam, each taken from the collection that reports it.
