About

The Prophet ﷺ said that his Pool is a month's journey across, its water whiter than milk and its scent sweeter than musk, its cups as many as the stars of the sky, and whoever drinks from it will never be thirsty (al-Bukhari 6579). As-Sa'di explains that al-Kawthar given to the Prophet ﷺ (108:1) is abundant good, including the river and the Pool given him on the Day of Resurrection.

islamweb's fatwa reports, from a hadith in at-Tirmidhi graded sahih by al-Albani, that every prophet has a Pool for his followers. The order in islamweb's fatwas places it after the Scale and before as-Sirat.

Narrated `Abdullah bin `Amr:The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "My Lake-Fount is (so large that it takes) a month's journey to cross it. Its water is whiter than milk, and its smell is nicer than musk (a kind of Perfume), and its drinking cups are (as numerous) as the (number of) stars of the sky; and whoever drinks from it, will never be thirsty

1. Verily, We have granted you (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم) Al-Kauthar (a river in Paradise).[1]

[1] (V.108:1) Narrated Anas رضي الله عنه: When the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم was made to ascend to the heavens. He صلى الله عليه وسلم said (after his return), "I came upon a river (in Paradise) the banks of which were made of tents of hollow pearls. I asked Jibrîl (Gabriel), ‘What is this (river)?’ He replied, ‘This is the Kauthar’ " (Sahih Al-Bukhâri, Vol.6, Hadîth No. 488).
